Applications
From commissioning to annual QA — one system
Linac Commissioning
Complete beam data acquisition for TPS commissioning. Automated scan queues reduce setup time by hours compared to manual acquisitions.
Annual Machine QA
Full photon and electron beam characterisation for TG-51 / TRS-398 annual QA. Reproducible setup via precision Cartesian frame.
Multi-Machine QA
Compare beam profiles across multiple linacs. Overlay and gamma analysis tools identify deviations instantly.
TPS Beam Model Validation
Export measured data directly into Eclipse, Monaco, RayStation and Pinnacle. ADAS eliminates systematic errors from detector swaps.
Reference Dosimetry
Absolute dose measurement at reference conditions. Compatible with standard Farmer-type and compact ionisation chambers.
FFF Beam Characterisation
Supports high dose-rate flattening-filter-free beam measurements for TrueBeam and Versa HD commissioning.
Why DoseView™ 3D?
Cartesian coordinate system eliminates rotational errors inherent in other designs. Every axis independently verified to ±0.1 mm — no cumulative uncertainty.
Swap detectors mid-session without returning to isocenter. The Automatic Detector Alignment System locks detector position relative to the phantom geometry.
Automated scan queue setup reduces commissioning time from days to hours. Queue, walk away, return to complete beam data — no babysitting required.

FAQ
Water phantom, linac commissioning, annual QA — questions we hear from Indian medical-physicist teams
Why linac commissioning takes so long on legacy tank-and-scanner systems, how the DoseView 3D self-alignment removes that overhead, which linac makes it fits, and how the system is supplied across India.
Q.Why do medical physicists spend two to three weeks commissioning a new linac?
Linac commissioning captures the full beam-data set — PDDs, profiles, output factors, wedge factors — that the treatment planning system needs to calculate patient dose. Every energy, every field size, every wedge, every applicator has to be measured in a large water phantom under standardised conditions. On older tank-and-scanner systems, the mechanical alignment of the detector arm, hand-levelling of the water surface and manual detector positioning consume most of that time; the actual dose measurement is fast.
Q.How does DoseView 3D shorten the commissioning window?
DoseView 3D removes the manual-alignment overhead. The scanner arrives on the linac couch, drops into place, self-levels using integrated sensors, auto-detects the detector at ±0.1 mm accuracy, and drives Cartesian scans across the full 500 × 500 × 415 mm tank without operator intervention between scans. Physicists commissioning a new machine report a commissioning cycle in days rather than weeks — the same beam-data set at higher spatial resolution, with fewer re-scans caused by alignment drift.
Q.Is DoseView 3D just for commissioning, or does it also cover annual QA?
Both. The AAPM TG-51 addendum + IAEA TRS-398 reference dosimetry protocols require an annual re-verification of beam output and depth-dose curves. Running that annual QA on the DoseView 3D takes a fraction of the time of a legacy tank-and-scanner because the detector alignment and water-surface flatness carry over from the commissioning baseline — the physicist runs the scan schedule and reads the deltas.
Q.Can DoseView 3D be used on any linac make and model?
Yes. The tank is a manufacturer-agnostic water phantom — Varian TrueBeam / Halcyon / Ethos, Elekta Versa HD / Infinity, Accuray Radixact, and older linacs all sit on the same couch interface. The Cartesian scan frame and detector library cover the beam-data acquisition workflow every commissioning protocol expects.
Q.How is DoseView 3D supplied and supported in India?
DoseView 3D is distributed across India by Saxsons Group under SKU RT-008. Supply covers the tank, Cartesian frame, detector library and control software; commissioning support, applications training and annual-QA workflow setup are handled directly by Saxsons.
