The daily morning check — every modality, one setup
Verify linac output every morning across every photon and electron energy. Automatic energy detection means therapists deliver beams in any sequence — no device reset between energies.
Four quadrant chambers at 7.5 cm from the centre capture radial and transverse profile constancy on every beam.
Dose rates to 2400 MU/min and rotational delivery support let the device serve daily VMAT and IMAT machine checks alongside static beams.
Built for the high dose-per-pulse seen on TrueBeam HDRS and Versa HD FFF deliveries. No saturation correction needed at the dose rates documented in the brochure.
Wireless, standalone operation lets RTTs complete the morning constancy check independently — physicist review happens later, on the saved data.
Covers the output / profile-constancy portion of the daily-QA test set in the AAPM Task Group reports. Mechanical and imaging daily tests run on separate tools.
A single centre chamber gives output, four quadrant chambers at 7.5 cm give radial and transverse profile constancy, and three energy-ID chambers let the device recognise the delivered beam automatically. One setup, every photon and electron energy.
The device records, calculates and reports on its own — no console cable, no laptop in the bunker. Standalone for the morning check; the PC software is there when you want trending or batch export.
Automatic energy detection plus a 10-second readiness window means the full daily-QA list across photons and electrons completes faster than energy-by-energy chamber swaps.

For Medical Physicist
Output, profile and energy constancy live on the array. Mechanical, safety and imaging daily checks stay on other tools. The split, sourced to Klein 2009 and Hanley 2021.
Read this Medical PhysicistEight chambers cover every photon and electron energy in one setup. Automatic energy detection means any order. ~10 s between beams. Where does the morning actually go on a chamber chain — and what changes?
