SPECT-tier shielding in the stainless-steel outer with optional lead-glass viewing window. Daily MDP, MIBI, ECD, MAG3 and DMSA dispensing. Slide-lock closure for fast vial access; the engraved calibration scale lets the operator read the vial volume through the window before withdrawing the dose.

A dedicated vial shield holds the vial in a fixed geometry with a lead-glass side window (so the volume and label are visible), a septum-friendly cap (so the syringe needle can withdraw without opening the shield), and per-isotope Pb thickness sized to the photon energy actually being handled. The workflow finishes without lifting the vial out of the shield, so the dose stays low.

Q.What is the beta + gamma hybrid variant for?
Lu-177, Y-90 and other β-emitting therapy isotopes emit both beta particles and gamma photons. Beta shielding wants a low-Z material (Perspex / PMMA) on the inside to avoid bremsstrahlung production; gamma shielding wants a high-Z material (lead) on the outside. The β + γ hybrid variant uses a Perspex inner liner inside a lead outer wall — beta stops in the Perspex without producing bremsstrahlung, gamma is attenuated by the lead.
