A comparative analysis of the dog vaccines, containing leptospir used in the Russian Federation

Abstract

This article examines issues related to vaccinating dogs against leptospirosis, which receives particular attention as a zoonotic disease. Despite the extensive arsenal of leptospirosis vaccines, questions remain about their compliance with important criteria: the etiologic structure of the vaccine in the country, the presence of an adjuvant, as well the administration schedule and duration of the immune response. The issue of adverse reactions after vaccination is raised.
